Ed and Jordie have a holiday home here in the Algarve so having their destination wedding here was even more special knowing all their favourite places to go!
The girls got ready at the The Conrad Hotel in Quinta do Lago while the boys got ready leisurely by the pool at their villa. Jordie is an artist herself specialising in textiles so she has a unique eye for style. Her bouquet was a simple protea. Her theme for her table decoration was succulents and wood, it looked absolutely gorgeous and not a flower insight! Her table plan was a table set up full of sprayed gold pineapples, it was great, so affective!
Their Church of choice was in Sao Lourenço, Almancil, it is an extremely pretty Church with said to be the oldest tiles in Europe adorning the walls and ceiling. A magnificent gold leaf alter as a backdrop creates a absolutely breath taking Church ceremony although there are a lot of restrictions re photography inside the Church itself! The ceremony was held by Father Paul Luckman a local Anglican priest and a very lovely man who delivers a light humoured service, we like Father Paul!
Outside the Church the guest enjoyed magaritas made freshly at the pop up bar placed outside just for their guests, perfect way to cool everyone down on a hot day!
Afterwards it was off to Bovino Steak house in Quinta do Lago over looking the lake. Cocktails by the pool, fab view and fab canapés, really gorgeous venue and very different in lots of ways, the decor is fabulous you must check it out.
The whole wedding was designed and co-ordinated by Algarve Events, everything was perfectly unique in every way, a fabulous Algarve wedding!
