Charlotte's parent live here in the Algarve Portugal and have a very popular beach restaurant in Val de Lobo called Maria's Restaurant and beach bar. The wedding was held quite early in the season in April and unfortunately brought with it some April showers, it tipped down all morning but in true Algarve style it brightened up in the afternoon and turned into a beautiful day!
Charlotte's dress was one of the most intricate dresses I have seen to date with thousands of tiny embroidered leaves all stitched together making a beautiful dress complete with diamonte belt. It really was stunning and I really was pleased to have a sheet in the back of my car to lay on the ground for her when we nipped off for photos in nearby woods to capture some beautiful shots with the wild spring flowers!
The ceremony was held up in the hills above Faro in a pretty little round Church called St Luke's. After the ceremony guests gathered on the steps of the Church for a champagne reception before heading back down to the coast for the wedding reception, party and sunshine!
Maria's was beautifully decorated by Suzannah's flowers, the washed out wood of the tables and pastel flowers looking stunning against the wild ocean behind them. At night the whole place was lit in fairy lights as the fantastic Daddy Jack Band kicked off the party and had everyone dancing into the early hours!
